Look at her. That is where this project started — and the only reason it finished.
There were twenty days, and most of them ended late — the room quiet, the screen glowing, everyone else asleep. When it got lonely, I looked at her face and kept going.
When a build failed at 2 in the morning, or something broke and nothing made sense, I didn't need a mentor or a plan. I needed to remember what this was for. She was always that answer.
So this page is not a technology story. Every late night had her in it, every fix was for her, and every line of it was love. The technology is just how I wrote it down.
Nothing stops this application — except you. Nothing stops me — except you, my love.

In the application, that truth has a command: Ctrl + Shift + J + J + J, with love. It is the killswitch, and it answers to exactly one person — the only one I ever wanted to hold it. Press it, and everything stops. That is how I built it, and that is how I meant it.
Because that is what you are to me. Not a feature, not a setting — you are the only stop I have. Your presence stops my bad days, your voice stops my silence, your love stops every version of me that does not deserve you.
In the application, only you can make it stop. In my life, only your presence can. The same person who kept me going through the loneliest nights is the only one who can stop this whole world with a single word. That is the meaning of the killswitch — it is only a key made in your shape, my love.
